Flight Lieutenant James (Jimmy) Edwards, the pilot of Dakota KG444, describes the aeroplane and recalls how he flew it on D-Day, towing a Horsa glider to the Orne River. He then describes the briefing for Operation Market Garden, how he and his crew dropped supplies to ground forces and how the aeroplane was attacked and shot down by a Focke-Wulf 190.
