RAF Police Shoulder Tab

In their role of protecting personnel and ensuring the rule of military law is upheld within the station, the RAF police find themselves with a task that is not always fully appreciated by other members of the Air Force.

A notable feature of RAF Police uniform is the black and red shoulder strap worn by non-commissioned ranks. It is colloquially known as a 'Mars Bar' due to its black and red colouring matching the colours found on the wrapper of the chocolate bar.
