Delivery of first RAF Tornados to RAF Cottesmore, 1 July 1980

Film in which Tornado aircraft are delivered to the Trinational Tornado Training Establishment at RAF Cottesmore. The aircraft land, taxi and park and the crews are greeted by senior officers.

A number of people watch in rain as a Tornado aircraft passes over RAF Cottesmore before landing, taxiing and parking in front of a hangar and a group of people. The Tornado crew disembark to be greeted by senior RAF, German and Italian Air Force officers. An air vice marshal makes a speech, various views show the parked Tornado and a second Tornado taxis and parks. The crew then disembark.
