Combat Helmet Mark 4

Introduced in the closing stages of the Second World War, the Mk 4 helmet continued to serve as the standard British combat helmet for over 40 years.

This example belonged to Warrant Officer Roy Barber who went on to work at the RAF Museum's Restoration Facility at RAF Cardington during the 1990s.
