Target information folder prepared by the Air Ministry Target Section giving details of the Reichswerke Hermann Göering steel works at Hallendorf.
Bomber Command attacked Hallendorf on seven separate occasions but only as minor operations. The largest took place on the night of 3-4 December 1944, when 11 De Havilland Mosquitoes attacked the steelworks without loss.
