Target information folder prepared by the Air Ministry Target Section giving details of Kachlet dam and power station at Steinbach, near Passau.

Located on the Danube, the dam allowed inland waterway traffic to travel from Passau upriver to Regensburg for the transshipment of goods and materials to smaller barges or railways had to take place. The power station supplied electricity to the local area. The dam, however, was not attacked during the Second World War.
