This edition of the Shawbury Flypast periodical was produced for the RAF Shawbury at Home Battle of Britain Week in 1949. It contains an itinerary of events for the week. RAF Shawbury was first operational in 1917 but then reverted back to civilian use in 1920. RAF Shawbury was reactivated in 1938 and operated primarily as a training establishment during the Second World War.
