Battle of Britain display: Saturday 12 September 1959

Official programme for the Battle of Britain display in 1959 at Royal Air Force Ayios Nikolaos with music by the Station band.

The programme has information on the ground demonstrations including police dogs, physical training, anti-aircraft gun drill, and a mock action and mortar demonstration by a squadron of the Royal Air Force Regiment. The air demonstrations include drills, formations and aerobatics displays, and there are also static displays of guns, helicopter, vehicle and aircraft stores. Included with the programme are separate Greek and Turkish versions of the welcome, the demonstrations and displays.
