Lockheed PV-1 Ventura (NZ4559) of the Royal New Zealand Air Force in about 1945.
In 1943 the Lockheed PV-1 Ventura was supplied to the Royal New Zealand Air Force under Lend-Lease. It was used as a patrol bomber operating over the south-West Pacific islands but began to be withdrawn from operational service in 1944.
