Battle of Britain London Monument leaflet produced by the Battle of Britain Historical Society to generate interest and support for a London monument to the Battle of Britain
Leaflet unfolds to show a depiction of how the monument was intended to look and where it would be situated on Victoria Embankment, London SW1. The Monument, designed to commemorate all those involved in the battle, airmen, support people and civilians, was unveiled in 2005 and was mainly paid for through private donations. The names of the 2,937 British and Allied airmen awarded the Battle of Britain clasp are listed on the Monument
