Various views show an operations room clock, plotters at work as markers indicate the progress of German air attacks on south-east England and controllers guiding interception by RAF fighters. Archive footage shows Spitfire pilots scrambling to their aircraft, taking off and attacking German Heinkel 111 bomber aircraft. Spitfires are then seen landing.
