Royal Air Force Hendon: Information Handbook

This handbook was produced to provide individuals who worked at RAF Hendon with information about life on the site, its history as well as the various activities that personnel could participate in.

Hendon Aerodrome has been an incredibly important location with regards to the RAF and the history of flight in the United Kingdom in general. Today, the site is the location of the London branch of the Royal Air Force Museum. The aerodrome was the site of Claude Grahame-White's aviation company as well as other flying schools before becoming an RAF station. Hendon closed as an RAF station on 1 April 1987.
