RAF flatbed lorry carrying an experimental light tank, Iraq, 1932

An RAF Crossley 30/70hp flatbed lorry with a Carden Lloyd tankette on the rear.

This Carden Lloyd tankette was sent to Iraq in 1932 to see if it was suitable for operations there. The subsequent report was unfavourable towards the tracked vehicle. However, the officers in Iraq were very impressed with the Crossley lorry used to carry the tankette around.
