Short Sunderland ML824 was flown from France to Pembroke Dock in 1961.
ML824 was built as a Sunderland Mk III but converted to Mk V standard. After wartime service with the Royal Air Force, it was refurbished and transferred to the French Navy in 1951. It was based in West Africa until 1960 when it returned to France. It was displayed at Pembroke Dock from 1961 until it was gifted to the Royal Air Force Museum and moved to London.
