Service Dress Cap of a Field Officer
London, Hangar One Aircraft & Exhibits
The first blue RAF uniforms were supposedly made from fabric which was ordered by the Imperial Russian government but never delivered due to the revolution of 1917.
The light blue shade was unpopular and was replaced towards the end of 1919 with the blue grey shade still in use today.
