Photograph of De Havilland Mosquito NF.30 (MM813 FK-H) of 219 Squadron, Lubeck, about 1945
The RAF occupied the former Luftwaffe airfield at Lubeck at the end of the Second World War. It was used to concentrate captured German aircraft, both those already captured and those brought in after the German surrender.
219 Squadron had joined the newly formed Second Tactical Air Force in January 1944 to prepare for the Allied invasion of Normandy, after which they flew regular sorties in support of operations on the ground as the Allies advanced on Germany. 219 Squadron was disbanded in September 1946, meaning this photo was taken before that date - most likely in 1945.
