Short Stirling Mk I (MG-S) of No. 7 Squadron waiting to be armed for its next sortie.
No. 7 Squadron was the first squadron to be equipped with the Short Stirling, and flew the first bombing raid with the type in February 1941. The Squadron re-equipped with the Avro Lancaster in 1943.
