Aircraft Recognition Chart: Beaufort II (2-Twin Wasp)
Ministry of Aircraft Production aircraft recognition chart of a Bristol Beaufort Mark II. Issue 2, February 1943.
Aircraft recognition charts were an essential training tool in learning to recognise aircraft. They depicted silhouettes of both allied and enemy aircraft and were used to help military personnel quickly identify whether an aeroplane was friendly or hostile. The Bristol Beaufort was a torpedo bomber aircraft. The Mark II was fitted with two Pratt & Whitney R-1830-S3C4-G Twin Wasp radial engines.
