Aircraft Recognition Chart: Tojo

Aircraft recognition charts were an essential training tool in learning to recognise aircraft. They depicted silhouettes of both allied and enemy aircraft and were used to help military personnel quickly identify whether an aeroplane was friendly or hostile. The Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki, allied codename "Tojo", was a single-seat fighter interceptor operated by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. In total, 1,225 were built.
