De Havilland Mosquito bomber aircraft drop Highball bouncing bombs during trials against the battleship HMS Malaya, moored on Loch Striven in Scotland, and at sea off the coast at Reculver.

A de Havilland Mosquito B.IV bomber aircraft flies low over Loch Striven and drops a Highball bouncing bomb, which bounces on the surface of the water and strikes the hull of the battleship HMS Malaya. Further runs are shown off the coast at Reculver and the film concludes with shots of test runs against HMS Malaya on Loch Striven. On the final trial run the bomb penetrates the ship's hull.
