Film in which the Queen Mother visits RAF Leconfield, where she inspects a guard of honour, pilots of 74 Squadron, Lightning and Hawker Hunter fighter aircraft and a married quarter.
The Queen Mother disembarks from a de Havilland Heron aircraft at RAF Leconfield, meets several officers and inspects a guard of honour. She meets Lightning pilots of 74 Squadron, inspects a Hawker Hunter fighter aircraft of 19 Squadron and is shown a Lightning by Wing Commander John Howe, commanding officer of 74 Squadron. She then visits an RAF married quarter, where the resident family greet her at the front door.
