Recording of interviews with Wing Commander Patrick and Flight Lieutenant Greening, circa 1970

Recordings of two interviews, the first with Wing Commander Patrick, who flew as a Pathfinder with Bomber Command, the other with Flight Lieutenant Greening who also served with the Pathfinders.

The first part of this recording is a conversation between Wg Cdr Patrick and Group Captain Hamish Mahaddie, including discussion of Berlin as a target, the routes taken, Pathfinder techniques, the formation of 582 Squadron and mutual friends from 7 Squadron. The second part is a conversation on the Pathfinder Force between Flt Lt Greening and Gp Capt Hamish Mahaddie, including discussion of the Dresden raid of February 1945.
