Interview with Mr W.G. Grotenberg, who lived in Holland throughout the German occupation and was an active member of a Dutch Underground network concerned with the hiding of Jewish people.
Mr Grotenberg was a student in Holland at the outbreak of the Second World War; he describes his reactions to the German invasion and occupation, home life and escalating persecution of Jewish people. He explains how he used an administrative job with a Dutch first aid organisation as cover for his underground activities, which centred primarily on finding hiding places for Jewish people.
