Interview with Group Captain G M Wyatt at the Joint Warfare Establishment, Old Sarum. Gp Capt Wyatt flew Army Co-operation aircraft before and during the Second World War.
Gp Capt Wyatt served as an Army co-operation pilot in the reserves before and during the Second World War. He describes the Hawker Audax, Haskard Range, training exercises, the duties of Army co-operation aircraft and the use of air to ground communications in artillery spotting. He served in 70 Wing and remembers seeing Wg Cdr Harry Day leave on his last flight before being shot down and captured.
