Sqdn Ldr Wellington served with 83 Squadron as a Pathfinder. He recalls his crew, the experience of being coned by searchlights, flak, aircraft damage, crew injuries and the use of the FIDO system. Flt Lt Temple describes time with 12, 156 and 626 Squadrons, ‘scarecrows’, blue searchlights, his views on the Dresden raid, returning from a raid with battle damage and support for D-Day.
