Interview with Mr V E Williams, who served in armoured cars in Aden, Iraq, Palestine and the Western Desert in the 1930s and early 1940s.
Mr Williams outlines his RAF career, from joining the service in 1929 to an armoured car course at Eastchurch and a posting to Aden in November 1931. He describes the crew and role of an armoured car in Palestine and Aden, and describes his involvement in the Iraqi revolt of 1941 while at Habbaniya.
