Recording made at a party for Pathfinder Force veterans, in which a number of men discuss their experiences of Pathfinder operations with Group Captain Hamish Mahaddie.

Gp Capt Mahaddie speaks to a number of Bomber Command veterans at a party given for those who served in the Pathfinder Force. Veterans recall details of raids on Germany, target marking, returning in damaged aeroplanes, Gee and H2S and target-marking in Normandy following the D-Day landings despite bad visibility, Mahaddie’s work with Len Deighton on his book ‘Bomber'.
