Scammell Scarab Mechanical Horse tractor unit type MH6 3 x 2. Right hand drive; pressed steel construction cab with full depth doors and seats for driver and passenger. Ramp type trailer coupling gear mounted at rear of frame. Four cylinder petrol engine. Designed to tow 6 ton 2-wheeled semi-trailer.
Delivered to the RAF 1952 and served with the Middle East Air Force until withdrawn around 1968. Likely RAF registration number 19 AN 9.
