Recorded interview with Flight Lieutenant Ronald Myhill, who served at RAF Hendon with 24 Squadron and with the Missing Research and Enquiry Service during and after the Second World War.

Flight Lieutenant Ronald Myhill was at Hendon with 24 Squadron and describes his involvement in supporting Churchill’s wartime flights in Flamingo aircraft. He then explains his work as part of a team tasked with recovering and identifying the bodies of missing service personnel. This includes relations with the Germans, use of German records, the investigation methods used, how this work affected people and the changing nature of work over time.
