RP-3 3in 25lb Rocket
Tubular rocket motor with four rectangular fins ( new) at the rear end fitted with 25lb head at other end.
The RP-3 (Rocket Projectile 3 inch) was introduced in the second half of the Second World War. This type of solid head was particularly used on anti-submarine/anti-shipping strikes during World War Two by RAF Mosquito and Beaufighter aircraft and could punch through hull plates with deadly efficiency.
