Recorded interview with Barry Chittock, who served as an RAF electrical fitter on Varsity, Canberra, Lightning, Valetta, Heron and Pembroke aircraft. He remembers various aspects of working on these aeroplanes.

Barry Chittock trained as a boy entrant aircraft electrician at RAF St Athan before working on Vickers Varsity aircraft at RAF Lindholme. He worked with Canberras of 98 Squadron, Hunters and Lightnings of the Air Fighting Development Squadron and Lightnings of 11 Squadron at RAF Binbrook and with the Communications Squadron and 60 Squadron at RAF Wildenrath. He comments on the use of Valetta and Heron aircraft as VIP transports.
