Eric Brown remembers joining the Fleet Air Arm, his operational experience in Grumman Martlet aircraft and aspects of his career as a test pilot. He comments on Mosquito deck landing trials, his involvement in testing captured German aircraft and early jet aircraft, including the Gloster E28/39 and the Messerschmitt 262. He comments on Italian and Japanese aircraft and the development of high-speed aircraft such as the DH108 and Miles M52.
