Recorded interview with John Bryant, who served as a radar fitter on Lightnings and as a pilot in Lightning and Jaguar aircraft. He discusses various aspects of operations in each.

John Bryant was a radar maintainer on Lightnings before becoming a Lightning pilot. He served with 92 Squadron in Germany, as an Interception Weapons Instructor and as a conversion unit instructor. He converted to the Jaguar at RAF Lossiemouth and flew with 6 Squadron, as a flight commander with 14 Squadron and commanded 54 Squadron. He discusses detachments to Denmark and the Jaguar’s role within the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
