Bob Carr completed his RAF national service as a storeman, specialising in explosives, before continuing to serve in the RAF supply branch at various locations in the UK and abroad.
Bob Carr remembers his national service call-up and how he trained as a storeman, specialising in explosives. He describes his career, including 202 Maintenance Unit at RAF Longparish, the supply sections at St Eval, Luneberg and Market Drayton, 16 Maintenance Unit at RAF Stafford, 11 Maintenance Unit at RAF Chilmark, the supply squadrons at Geilenkirchen and Bicester and at Changi, Singapore. He later commanded the supply wing at RAF Sealand.
