Recorded interview with Barry Weston, who served as a pilot in Hastings transport aircraft operating from the UK and Sunderland flying boats in the Far East, including Malaya and Korea.

Barry Weston trained as a pilot before joining 24 Squadron, operating Hastings transport aircraft on worldwide operations. He remembers his conversion to Sunderland flying boats, posting to 230 Squadron in the Far East and the nature of Sunderland operations. He remembers bombing operations in Malaya, anti-submarine operations and patrols around Korea during a quiet period. He comments on Sunderland performance and his return to the UK to leave the RAF.
