Catalina fly-in, Colerne, 30 May 1974

Film in which a Royal Danish Air Force Catalina flying boat lands at RAF Colerne. The Catalina is seen on the ground and is handed over to the RAF Museum.

A Catalina flying boat makes a low pass over RAF Colerne before landing. A brief view shows the cockpit, the engines stop and documents are handed over by Colonel K Bendix of the Royal Danish Air Force to Air Vice Marshal Nigel Hoad, Air Officer Commanding 46 Group, in the presence of John Tanner, Director of the RAF Museum. The Catalina was later displayed at the RAF Museum’s Cosford site.
