Robbie Stewart and Dave Waddington flew together as a Tornado crew during the 1991 Gulf War. During an operation over Iraq they were shot down and became prisoners of war.
Robbie Stewart and Dave Waddington each outline their earlier lives and careers, before giving an account of their participation in the 1991 Gulf War. This includes training and preparation, their experience of low-level bombing operations over Iraq, being shot down and captivity. They describe the conditions experienced in Iraq, including violence, ongoing Coalition air raids, poor food and poor sanitation. They remember their release, return home and return to flying.
