Recorded interview with Derek Tilford, who served as a navigator in Javelin fighters and Victor tanker aircraft, and was involved in planning Operation Black Buck during the 1982 Falklands War.

Derek Tilford was a navigator in Javelin aircraft of 33 Squadron in the UK and Germany. He was an instructor at the Bomber Command Bombing School at RAF Lindholme, flew Victor tankers from RAF Marham and served with the 1 Group Air to Air Refuelling Planning Cell at RAF Bawtry during the Falklands War, planning for Operation Black Buck. He later completed an exchange tour with the German Air Force.
