Recorded interview with Cliff Moon, who was a survival equipment fitter from 1985 to 1999. During this time he served in the Middle East, Ploče in Croatia and Northern Ireland.
Cliff Moon trained as a survival equipment fitter and served with 33 Squadron at RAF Odiham. He describes rotation around different areas of work and deployment to Dhahran for the 1991 Gulf War. He describes the accommodation, the danger of chemical or biological attack and the protective measures in place. He describes deployments to Ploče in Croatia, working with Puma and Chinook helicopters, to Northern Ireland and for Operation Jural.
