RAF Benevolent Fund leaflet

The RAF Benevolent Fund is one of a number of service charities that provide support and advice to serving and former RAF service personnel, their families and dependants, regardless of rank.

Formed in 1919 the RAF Benevolent fund has for over 100 years provided support to current and former personnel and their families in the form of financial assistance and advice, counselling and emotional support. The fund receives no direct government support and is entirely reliant on charitable donations. In 2022 over £17m was spent on its charitable activities.
