Recorded interview with Wing Commander David Bolsover, 2 February 2018
Interview with David Bolsover, who served as a pilot in Puma helicopters in the UK and Germany before converting to Buccaneer and Tornado aircraft. He also commanded the Red Arrows.
David Bolsover flew Puma helicopters with 33 and 230 Squadrons in Northern Ireland, Belize, Norway and Germany. He then converted to the Buccaneer and describes his experience with 208 and 12 Squadrons. He explains how Buccaneers worked with Tornado aircraft to identify targets to be attacked with laser-guided bombs during the 1991 Gulf War. He later flew Tornado and Canberra PR9 aircraft and was commanding officer of the Red Arrows.
