Royal Air Forces Association promotional toy

The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) is one of a family of charities that support serving and former RAF personnel and their families.

RAFA was founded in 1936, included in the association's welfare activities are the operation of three respite care homes, the provision of sheltered housing and assistance for individuals in welfare need. The charity receives no government funding and is largely reliant on bequests and donations. In 2021 RAFA spent in excess of £12m on its charitable activities.
