Interview with Keith Hawkins, who served as an RAF Regiment gunner during the 1970s, including deployment to Belize with Bofors anti-aircraft guns in support of air operations in the country.
Keith Hawkins served with 48 Squadron RAF Regiment. He describes training on the Bofors 40/70 anti-aircraft gun, a deployment to Belize, providing ground defence for an RAF base in the country. He was then posted to the Combat Training Squadron at RAF Catterick. He describes driving training and jungle warfare training, explains his reasons for leaving the RAF and outlines his post-RAF career, including time working at the RAF Museum.
