Harry Hodgson remembers how he trained as an RAF airframe fitter during the Second World War. On completion of training he was posted to 10 Squadron at RAF Melbourne in Yorkshire, operating Handley Page Halifax bomber aircraft. He gives an account of life and work at RAF Melbourne, including aerial tours of Germany following the end of the war. He then served with Dakota transport aircraft in the Far East.
