Recorded interview with Lieutenant Commander David Morgan, 25 October 2018
Interview with David Morgan, who served as an RAF helicopter and Harrier pilot, flew Royal Navy Sea Harriers during the 1982 Falklands War and later transferred to the Royal Navy.
David Morgan began training initially as a Royal Navy helicopter pilot, but completed his training in the RAF. He flew Wessex helicopters with 72 Squadron in Northern Ireland before flying the Harrier GR3 with 3 Squadron in Germany. During an exchange tour with the Fleet Air Arm he flew Sea Harrier aircraft from the aircraft carrier HMS Hermes during the 1982 Falklands War. He later transferred to the Royal Navy.
