Paul Twitchell served as an RAF armourer and bomb disposal specialist, and deployed three times to Iraq. He describes his experience of bomb disposal operations in Iraq, the loss of friends and colleagues, the psychological impact and his evacuation to the UK with an acute stress reaction. He remembers his treatment on return to the UK, his involvement in sport and his work as an armourer instructor at RAF Cosford.
