Recorded interview with Squadron Leader Tony Paxton 19 March 2019

Tony Paxton was a pilot in Lightning, Tornado GR.1 and Tornado F.3 aircraft in the UK and Germany. As a Tornado F3 pilot he deployed to the Gulf in 1990.

Tony Paxton flew Lightning aircraft with 19 Squadron in Germany and 11 Squadron in the UK. He converted to the Tornado GR1, which he flew with 9 Squadron at RAF Honington and 31 Squadron at RAF Bruggen. He flew the Tornado F3 with 5 Squadron and 23 Squadron, and as a flight commander with 23 Squadron in 1990, he deployed to Dhahran in support of coalition operations in the Gulf.
