Louise Henton joined the RAF as a personnel and administrative officer and gives an account of her first posting, as station adjutant and security officer at RAF Shawbury. She remembers time in the Falkland Islands as adjutant and families officer, deployments to Oman and Afghanistan and command of the Personnel Services Flight at RAF Cottesmore, the Personnel Management Squadron at RAF Waddington and the Recruit Training Squadron at RAF Halton.
