Seb Davey served as an RAF pilot in C130J and A400M transport aircraft, including operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and flew the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Dakota and Lancaster.
Seb Davey describes his experience of flying the C130J transport aircraft with 30 and 47 Squadrons, including operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Falkland Islands. He remembers the closure of RAF Lyneham and moving to Brize Norton, his conversion to the A400M Atlas transport aircraft and operations during the Covid pandemic. He explains how he became a pilot with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, flying Dakota and Lancaster aircraft.
