Alec Cecil describes his work in RAF logistics, working at Brize Norton and supporting the deployment of French equipment to Mali by C17 transport aircraft. He describes operations with the Joint Helicopter Support Unit and Squadron with Chinook helicopters in the Falkland Islands and Afghanistan. He remembers deploying to the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales and serving with 1 Air Mobility Wing towards the end of operations in Afghanistan.
